Pagano

This is a museum project in Milan, located in Pagano, a triangular parking lot, and the park adjacent to it used to be a railway area ,the elements that once divided the city’s development are now transformed and involved in the urban texture. Our strategy is to continue this green space and make our new building a park-like volume. We don’t want our new building to be too large to become a barrier to urban integration, so most of our mass is placed underground. The ground floor is completely open to the public.

The three vertices of the triangular field were lifted, so although our museum is underground, the people from all directions can still see our museum in the first place.
The ground floor is coverd with grassland providing public space for the citizen.
